Collective Alternatives was incorporated in the State of Georgia in 1985 to assist human service agencies in designing and developing new approaches to service delivery. The centrol focus of Collective was to develop service delivery approaches that support people with disabilities in becoming valued members of their communities and living in joyful interdependence with others.

Today, Collective operates as a network "hub", bringing together and connecting with many community and national organizations and individuals to achieve its mission.
